Food Trippin’

Last night the UCAA represented at UCU CultureCo’s annual Food Trippin’. The event, aimed at promoting the cultural diversity on campus by sharing different regions’ traditional food at a massive potluck dinner, was well attended by both students and a few alumni. Those present were able to sample delicious dishes native to everywhere from Spain, India, Hungary, Poland, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Turkey, and elsewhere. Our very own Sarah Carmichael (’06) prepared a batch of her aunt Janet’s yummy Scots Pancakes, while Roeland van Beek (’11) and Kiran Coleman (’05) took a cue from TalkingPost‘s new cooking column by Somaye Dehban (’07) and prepared an incredibly tasty Ab Gousht from Iran (try the recipe out for yourself here!).

  1. Sarah says :

Ooh Kiran I love it. Although I look a little bit crazed in some of those photos and I notice you didn’t include the one where Roeland looks like he’s choking and those wonderful photos I took of you!
